How to Make a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

Anyone who contacts Backyardbuthers Garage Doors should be treated fairly and honestly. If that did not happen for you, tell us. This page explains how to file a complaint and what happens afterward. It is a general template, not legal advice.

What You Can Tell Us About

You are welcome to write to us about:

  • How Backyardbuthers Garage Doors handled your call or message
  • How your personal information was treated
  • Anything on the site that looks unclear or wrong
  • How a provider we connected you with behaved

If the Problem Is With a Provider

Providers in our network are independent businesses. Each one sets its own quotes and prices and handles its own workmanship and customer service. If you are unhappy with work on your garage door, the usual first step is to contact the provider directly and keep written notes of what was said.

Please tell us too. Feedback about providers helps keep the network honest, and a provider who keeps falling short may be removed. Backyardbuthers Garage Doors cannot settle contract disputes, issue refunds for a provider's work or make decisions on a provider's behalf.

Filing Your Complaint

Email contact@backyardbuthers.living and include:

  • Your name and contact details
  • The date you contacted us or the provider
  • The phone number or form you used, if you know it
  • The provider's name, if you have it
  • A description of what happened and the outcome you would like

After You Write

We confirm by email that your complaint arrived, usually within a few business days. Next we review it, which may involve contacting the provider. Then we reply with what we found and any action we are taking.

If You Are Still Unhappy

If our answer does not satisfy you, reply and ask for another review. You may also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or the Better Business Bureau. If the provider holds a license, your state licensing board may be able to help as well.
